This position reports within the Department of OBGYN/Center for Women’s Health and the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center as a Program manager and reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Research. Works with physicians, faculty, CTO, SOM, and other departments, as needed. Works with Disease Working Group leaders and will work with physicians, /faculty, divisions, legal, and/or other departments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assures that timelines for projects will occur in a timely manner.
- Will initiate appropriate activities if projects are not achieving timelines as expected.
- Assesses and determines solutions for operational shortcomings of all projects that involve the CRAYONS (Clinical Research Assistant 2-year Oncology Navigator Program).
- Perform as a meeting facilitator by assisting the Associate Director of Clinical Research in scheduling all meetings, creating the agenda based on her direction, distributing project information and other meeting materials, and recording minutes.
- Assists colleagues in identifying efficiencies and improving processes.
- Assists in formulating and implementing the goals for the operation of the Gynecologic Oncology Research Enterprise (GO-RE) program.
- Responsible for administratively managing a large or complex University program or multiple programs.
- Provides input in developing program plans and objectives with responsibility for achieving objectives within defined parameters.
- Typically supervises small staff and is responsible for long-range planning.
- Responsibilities include budgeting, networking/public relations, technical training and assistance, and grant and report writing.
- May handle regulatory responsibilities, contract submissions, and identify research funding.
- May handle event planning and oversight of construction projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $51,270 – $83,300
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required
