Project Accounting and Finance Manager

TheAdministrative,FinancialandControlsManageroverseesday-to-dayadministrative/financeandcostcontrolfunctionsattheProjectLevelsupportingProjectDirectorinthedecision-makingprocess.

Responsibilities:

• SupporttheProjectDirectorinstrategicbusinessdecisionsrelatedtotheassignedProject.
• ManagestheAdministrative,FinancialandControlfunctionsofthebusinessunit(s)includingpayroll,accountspayable,HR,GeneralServices,IT,andCostControl.
• EnsurestheaccountinginaccordancewithIAS/USGAAPandcompanystandards.
• PreparethebudgettwiceayearalongsidetheOperationsManager.
• Reviewandanalyzeprojectrevenueandcosttoensureperformanceinaccordancewiththeprojections.
• ProvidemonthlyreportingforeachprojecttotheAreaAdministrative,FinancialandControlsManager.
• AssistOperationsManagementinanalyzingprojectactualresultscomparedtobudgetandforecast.
• ProvideOperationsManagementwithprojectresultsandcashflowinformation.
• EnsurethesystemsandprocessesadoptedbythebusinessunittobeinlinewithCompany’sprocedure.
• AssistOperationsManagementinupdatingcashflowforecastsandmonitoringbudgettoactualcashflowattheProjectLevel.
• Superviseandapproveprocurementactivities.
• Recommendpoliciesandproceduresrelatingtothefinancialandbusinesspracticesofthecompany.
• Monitorthefinancialoperationsoftheassignedareatoensurecompliancewithbudgets.
• CarryoutjobdutieswhilemaintainingLanevalues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’sDegreeinAccounting/Financeorequivalent
• 5-10yearsofrelatedexperience(dependingonthecomplexityoftheBusinessUnit)
• Musthavesupervisoryexperience
• Insurance/Payrollandbudgetingexperiencerequired
• EnterpriseResourcePlanningexperiencerequired
• KnowledgeofUSGAAPorIAS/IFRSaccountingprinciplesandfinancialmanagement
• CPApreferred
• Constructionorlong-termcontractexperiencerequired
• Proficientinterpersonalandorganizationalskills
• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunication
