The position Proposition:

RB Hinkle Construction is looking for a detail-oriented and driven professional to join our growing Power Delivery team. This role supports project and program managers by providing cost tracking, profitability analysis, scheduling, financial reporting, and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with pricing jobs and performing accurate unit takeoff calculations.
• Track cable and conduit inventory and maintain well-organized project documentation.
• Support foremen and superintendents with work order management and material receiving.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting and analysis.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
• Solid background in the electric utility industry.
• Effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Self-disciplined, motivated, able to work with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.

Educational & Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business management or accounting/finance preferred but not required.
• Directly related experience in cost accounting, scheduling, or project controls for construction projects.
• Knowledge of fundamental principles, concepts, and techniques in project cost accounting and project financial controls.
• Proficient computer skills using MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
