TREC is a pan-Canadian and international program of applied research. It functions in an integrated knowledge translation or partnered model. We have long-standing relationships with stakeholders, end users, policymakers, and our citizen advisory group. Additional information about the TREC research program is available here: .We are seeking a mature and experienced project coordinator to manage two projects, a survey project, and a multi-component intervention.PositionThis position will focus on the coordination of two projects. The first project is aimed to support a more resilient and stable workforce of care home managers. This study involves a pre-post intervention with a process evaluation works with 100 managers across Alberta to teach leadership, communication and coherent breathing strategies.The second project is a large survey of care aides from across Alberta. In partnership with CLPNA, we will randomly survey care aides on their experiences with trauma and its impact on their mental and physical health.The Project Coordinator will support all aspects of the studies including day-to-day project management, communication with stakeholders, drafting reports and budget reviews. Assistance with data collection and analysis will be required as needed.We are seeking a Project Coordinator based in Edmonton. The position will report to TREC’s Senior Manager and to TREC’s Senior Team Lead, Field Research and Operations, working closely with the principal investigator and the leads for each project. This position is a front-facing position and there will be engagement with both care home Managers and frontline care staff.Duties
