The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.
We are seeking a Project Designer for County Prestress & Precast, LLC in Westmont, IL.
Job Duties:
- Prepare drawings as required or instructed by Project Coordinators.
- Prepare piece drawings (minimum of two days) prior to their production dates.
- Make changes to AutoCAD or Revit drawings as required or directed.
- Provide clerical assistance to the Engineering Department as required or requested.
- Order embed plates and loose material well before it is required so material can be fabricated, assembled, and delivered.
- Work closely with the Project Manager/Engineer to solve casting and field problems as necessary.
Work Environment:
- Office working environment
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting frequently
- Carrying/Lifting 10 – 40 Pounds rarely
- Standing / Walking / Climbing
experience & Qualifications:
- AutoCAD or Revit certification, or Autodesk certified.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and perform AutoCAD or Revit tasks as directed.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
