Job Description

System Development Project Management (SDPM) is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Project Manager to join our consultancy team for the supervision and management of a major ongoing project in Kuwait.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale building projects, including commercial complexes, infrastructure works, hospitals, and government facilities, within a consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the consultancy firm and act as the primary point of contact with the client, contractor, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Lead the supervision team in overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications and contract requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety performance on-site.
• Coordinate and manage the review and approval process for shop drawings, materials, and technical submittals.
• Evaluate contractor claims, variation orders, and payment applications.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings with all stakeholders.
• Support contract administration and ensure timely reporting, documentation, and project deliverables.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover procedures.

Skills

Desire skills & Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (or relevant engineering discipline).
• 15-20 years of experience in construction supervision and project management, including substantial experience in consultancy roles.
• Proven experience in large-scale buildings and infrastructure projects, including malls, hospitals, and public sector developments.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait Municipality regulations and international codes.
• Valid membership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers and a Kuwait Municipality Professional Engineer License.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
