Asset Management Consulting Limited (AMCL), a Turner and Townsend company and global leaders in Asset Management (Physical Infrastructure), is looking to recruit a professional with formal project management experience but also interested in being a consultant to join our Asset Management Consultancy team.

The role will support the Regional Director in the delivery of a variety of consultancy and transformation projects for high profile infrastructure organisations across multiple sectors. The role provides an opportunity to work on a variety of Asset Management related projects as the Project Manager of the project, managing schedule, delivery of outcomes, financial matters, and project closeout. You will also be providing support to senior consultants and as a supporting consultant.

To be selected you must have formal qualification and experience as a project manager and a willingness to also be an asset management consultant. Consultancy or facilities management experience are desirable skills. You must bring formal project management experience and help implement good project management practice whilst providing consultancy support and growing your consultancy skills.

We are willing to teach the right person Asset Management and grow their Asset Management knowledge and consultancy skills.

The successful candidate will be based in our Turner & Townsend – Jakarta Office, however we are flexible on your residency in Indonesia. This is a full time role with flexible work hours and location – work from home or office. Regardless of place of residency, your typical working hours will be in line with Singapore local time which is AMCL’s Hub in the Region.

The position level and renumeration will be based on your experience.

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Project Director – work as the Project Manager (PM) on various management consultancy projects in the Region, carrying out required PM functions to ensure Asset Management projects for clients are delivered in line with our project governance requirements.
  • Provide support to senior consultants within the Region’s delivery team in the writing of documents, gathering of technical information, to deliver our asset management transformational projects while strengthening knowledge in Asset Management and learning consulting skills.
  • Provide translation support (written and verbally) between Bahasa Indonesian and English languages.
  • Provide support to the Regional Director in the management of the Region’s financial and work management activities such as invoicing, procurement, utilisation of staff by accessing and working with internal information systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Track projects against scope and budget and provide timely progress updates to the Project Director and client.
  • Produce accurate and well-evidenced reports and presentations that are consistent with our branding and internal best practice.

Qualifications

This role is aimed at professionals (with max of 5 years work experience) looking to take their next career step.

  • Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesian and English language – written and verbal.
  • A numerate degree or formal qualifications in Project Management.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Project Manager on infrastructure related projects.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently, delivering projects or tasks on time and within budget and achieving the desired outcomes.
  • Experience in working and delivering remotely and independently.
  • Experience in the development of proposals, project fees and close out reports.
  • Good report writing, presentation and communication skills.

Desirable but not compulsory experience:

  • Experience as a consultant in asset management, risk management or information systems.
  • Facilities management and/or development of facilities management plan experience.
  • Experience within asset intensive organisations, how they operate, their challenges.
  • Understanding of ISO 55001.
  • Strong Excel and VBA skills and experience in using MS Visio.
  • Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) concepts and Asset Management IT applications.
