JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Southend/Norwich, looking to recruit a new Projects Manager to join their team.This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.The company’s culture of being a friendly, dynamic team with a professional work ethic of continually nurturing talent, means that their employees’ ongoing learning and development is taken seriously with training support to widen skills and knowledge.This is a Permanent Position based in Southend/Norwich.
Working 40 hours per week, however this needs to be flexible dependent on workload.Salary and Benefits– Competitive salary and allowances– 7% employer contribution to pension– 3x Life assurance– Private healthcare and private dental– Free eye tests and vouchers towards glasses– Employee assistance programme– Employee referral programme– Training and development support to widen skills and knowledge– 240 hours annual leave per annum, increasing by 12 hours per years’ service up to max 300 hoursThe RoleThe Projects Manager is a certifying engineer who is not part of the standard station roster, the role requires administrative and managerial duties with aircraft support as deemed appropriate by them. They are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their locations as well as meeting all regulatory needs and reporting any deficiencies to the Operational Maintenance Manager for their region.Other Duties Involve– Planning, overseeing and executing paint inputs (from a Part 145 perspective)– Managing project events globally, providing support to ensure safe, efficient and effective operation– Assisting with bespoke AOG solutions to a customer occurrence– Maintaining a dynamic feedback loop to ensure timely, regular and accurate communication to all internal and external key stakeholders– Maintaining an efficient and effective Station structure to support the Customer– Ensuring staffing levels and skills are sufficient to fulfil customer requirements– Managing, understanding and striving to improve business unit KPIs.In order to be successful in this role the Projects Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:– Management or supervisory experience– UK AML or relevant degree or qualification in Aviation Engineering– Aircraft Types – A32’s (Preferred)– Full driving licenceIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Recruitment for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
