Property Tax Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Analyst in the hospitality industry, located in Dallas, Texas. The role involves processing and maintaining customer credit applications and records as well as monitoring credit accounts. The workplace is dynamic and fast-paced, offering a unique blend of challenges and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to policies and procedures for internal control in each department.

• Foster relationships and clear communication between all levels of employees and external providers.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of property tax processes to ensure timely filing and payment of property tax returns.

• Develop and distribute annual budget to upper level management and hotel ownership groups.

• Foster continuous improvement within the team.

• Develop understanding of various systems used to calculate taxes.

• Manage relationships and communication between all levels of employees, outside providers, and government representatives.

• Maintain and adhere to document management and retention policies.

• Understand and adhere to Tax Department functional area policies and corresponding services.

• Utilize skills such as CapEx, CRM, Crystal Reports, ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning, Management System, About Time, Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, Cash Activity, Compliance.

Requirements • Proven experience within the hospitality industry

• Demonstrable proficiency in CapEx, CRM and Crystal Reports

• Familiarity with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Excellent knowledge of Management Systems

• Experience with the ‘About Time’ system

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Ability to handle Cash Activity

• Proficient in ensuring Compliance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• High degree of professionalism and integrity.
