As a Part Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Novi, MI, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. We offer a variety of solutions that meet the unique needs of our workforce and the patients they serve. From clinical operations such as credentialing to business operations such as contracting, we provide organizational support that allows our providers to focus on what matters – providing care. 

 
Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and diagnostic criteria to formulate comprehensive treatment plans
  • Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications per established protocols and clinical guidelines; monitor medication efficacy and side effects, adjusting treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a clear, active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Michigan
  • Board certified as a PMHNP-BC by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or eligible for board certification
  • Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
  • Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position
