PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER (APRN)

Status: Full-TimeMonday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm w/ rotating weekend on-call

Salary: $115,000 – $135,000 per year. Salary will be dependent on education, license and experience

Exempt Salaried status with full benefits package after 30 days – biweekly payroll cycle

Work Location: Springville, Utah

Qualifications

Your Responsibilities & Qualifications will include:

• Valid license to practice and prescribe as Nurse Practitioner in Utah
• Experience in a behavioral health/psychiatric practice; with adolescents preferred
• Provide general medical care, assessments, evaluation and treatment of residents and consult with physicians, nursing, and other health professionals as needed to assure holistic approach and coordination of care and case management.
• Perform physical examination and/or preventive health measures within established guidelines to assess and evaluate resident’s clinical problems and health care needs. Manage all H&Ps and interventions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the Medical Director to ensure that the quality of medical services is of the highest caliber and provide competent medical physician back-up as required.
• Recommend, order, and prescribe treatments such as medication, therapy, and related procedures, and make referrals as needed.
