The incumbent will collaborate with other members of the team while providing assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and psychotherapy. The ability to conduct both individual and group treatment is an asset.The Clinical Psychologist will primarily provide psychological services to patients within the Psychiatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit but will also provide consultation, assessment, and treatment, as needed to the Forensic Assessment Correctional Treatment Unit, Transition Bungalow Program, and Community Program. Duties will include conducting comprehensive assessment of violence risk, personality, and cognitive skills in addition to other psychological assessments (e.g., neuropsychological screening), provision of treatment through both individual and group settings. Duties will also include participation in the predoctoral internship program and supervision of practicum students. Participation and testimony before the Criminal Code Review Board of Nova Scotia will be required.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
