Shift: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (hybrid role)
Duration: Long-term contract
Role & Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and report on the State’s Pregnancy Smoking Cessation Program.
• Develop, monitor, and manage the program’s contract and budget.
• Assess and allocate time, costs, resources, and materials to enhance and expand the program cost-effectively.
• Prepare and maintain reports related to program development and implementation.
• Facilitate the development of short- and long-term strategies and goals for the program.
• Provide technical assistance to health department staff, community organizations, and contractors.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Resolve conflicts and address grievances related to the program.
• Identify and provide necessary educational resources for community partners.
• Communicate policies and procedures to staff and community partners.
• Serve as a liaison with other departments, government entities, social and community agencies.
• Offer subject matter expertise on evidence-based interventions to reduce smoking during pregnancy.
• Collaborate with the internal evaluation team on needs assessments, surveys, program evaluations, and data management.
• Develop and implement innovative practices to address social determinants of health affecting pregnant smokers.
• Create and distribute social media content, press releases, media campaigns, and brochures to promote the program.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time professional experience in health program work.
• At least 1 year of full-time supervisory experience or statewide program oversight.
