The role: In this role, you’ll mainly provide PA and administrative support to one of Penguin Michael Joseph’s Publishing Directors. This role doesn’t work directly with the books, but you’ll take administrative responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the work being done in the division.

  • Liaising with freelance editors and authors as required to shepherd manuscripts into production
  • Managing the publication critical path of books within the division

You’ll have:

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • A clear and methodical approach to project management
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to multitask and handle competing priorities, as well as the ability to pivot in a fast-changing environment
