Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services. This role offers flexibility to work remotely while contributing to our company’s operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers to meet company needs.

• Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.

• Communicate with suppliers regarding product availability, lead times, and pricing.

• Monitor order statuses and follow up on delayed or incomplete shipments.

• Maintain up-to-date records of purchase transactions and supplier contacts.

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements.

• Review and verify invoices and purchase receipts.

• Support supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.

• Assist in negotiating prices and terms with vendors when necessary.

• Stay informed about market trends and new products relevant to the company.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management preferred.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and procurement software.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• High-speed internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
