Purchasing Buyer – Miami, FL

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures, a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of aircraft structural components, is currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Buyer to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented person who does well in a fast-paced environment.

In this position, the Buyer will evaluate suppliers based on price, quality and delivery speed to procure parts for work orders. The Buyer will be required purchase parts for assigned shops and work orders as well as maintain accurate records of all purchases.

Skills and education experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess strong negotiating skills
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
• Must be proficient in using MS Office products such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong attention to detail required
• Previous experience working in an FAA Repair Facility preferred
