You will work directly with leaders who believe in celebrating successes and sharing learnings with other teams to promote progress.We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QE Analyst with proven automation testing experience to join the QE team in the ePM (Enterprise Performance Management) application, ensuring a robust and stable technology solution that meets the needs of our Business sponsors and stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of testing within the product group with the focus in automation to enable greater test coverage and faster delivery. Senior QE Analyst will engage with the Product/Project Team to identify testing requirements, define testing timelines, plan/execute QE activities and report/track defects. Senior QE Analyst will report to Senior QE Manager and this role requires both hands on and leadership experience in QE areas to resolve all issues/queries that will allow the team to deliver their tasks in a timely manner.What will you do?
- As a Senior QE Analyst, you will be driving automation testing initiatives within the program under the direction of overall QE vision and strategy.
- Main point of contact for the project/product team for all things related to testing.
- Involve in all aspects of automation testing (plan, script, execute, analyze and report) using organization’s framework/tools and standards
- Work with team members (PM/Scrum Masters, Dev and Business Analysts) to understand objectives and map out testing and automation requirements.
- Design and develop new automation framework or maintain existing one to ensure testing process is comprehensive and add value to team’s goal under the direction of overall QE vision and strategy
- Support all test activities, enhance, develop and execute automated/manual test scripts, record and track software discrepancies and issues
- Perform different levels of testing based on business requirements – Functional, Regression, Integration and Performance testing.
- Create QE deliverables including but not limit to test plan, test cases and automation support documents.
- Work with JIRA, Confluence and qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions
What do you need to succeed?Must have:
- A relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a comparable field of study.
- 5+ years of QE Testing experience with a minimum 4 years in test automation
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation script development using Python.
- Working knowledge of automations tools and frameworks. (Robot Framework, Selenium, Python, Request Library)
- Proficient in SQL Queries (joins and aggregate functions, etc.)
- Basic Knowledge in UNIX commands and open source terminal emulator applications like PuTTY
- Experience working with DevOps pipelines – Jenkins, GIT, GitHub, UCD.
- Knowledge of web services and API testing – PostMan
- Proficient in Test Management tools like JIRA and qTest.
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
- Experience in Banking / Finance Domain
Nice-to-have:
- ISTQB certification
- Knowledge in Financial Business Rule Management System
- Experience in Cognos
