Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Finance team in a field position. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for supporting quality reviews of the Retail operations for Yamaha Financial Services. The position will be responsible for the auditing of Credit Card and Installment portfolio activities, both internally and externally, to ensure that all company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal guidelines, are being followed. They will assist with the development and completion of audits, quality reviews, and other job duties that will include but are not limited to supporting/assisting management on key job functions as needed and acting as liaison with JSOX and external audits.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Complete detailed reports on audits and quality reviews to include a review of any findings, identification of any trends, and training recommendations to ensure consistent adherence to internal company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Obtain and assemble all the necessary data and documentation needed to support State Exam requests as well as JSOX and other external audit requests for QA Originations and QA Retail Servicing.
  • Lead due diligence review activities of key Servicing Partners and participate in all monthly call calibration sessions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Servicing and DSC management teams and provide support in training of new hires, as well as on-going updates as needed, based on results of audit and quality review findings.
  • Participate in assigned projects and testing within the Servicing and DSC Departments and other cross functional groups.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
  • A minimum of 10 years financial services experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulatory guidelines required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in Quality Review, Auditing and Third-Party oversight preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communications skills, and attention to detail required.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills preferred.

Pay:

$56,290 to $99,060

Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha’s Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
