Quality Control Inspector – Lumberton, NJ

education/experience:
* College degree or High School diploma and 0-2 years’ experience in a related Quality
role in either distribution/warehousing or manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience using measuring devices such as Calipers and Micrometers /
familiarity with engineering drawings highly desirable.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be a US Citizen due to Naval Contractual Agreements.
* Must have knowledge of ISO9000 or equivalent Quality Management Standard. AS9100 a plus.
* Solid understanding of ICC product offerings.
* Basic knowledge of ICC value-added product assembly techniques, processes, and applications
* Basic understanding of ICC value-added shell and insert components.
* Must be able to use basic inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, drop gauges,
thread gauges, etc.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Must have strong communication skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to sit, stand, walk, use
computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and
oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers.
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force regularly, and occasionally up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push,
pull or otherwise move objects.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as:
inspecting manufactured parts (with and without magnification), preparing/analyzing data and figures;
viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,
ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and
components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings.
