Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Jamestown, NY client.

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished goods, documenting findings, and working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards to verify product compliance.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality data.
• Identify nonconformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure continuous improvement.
• Conduct audits and support ISO or other regulatory compliance efforts.
• Maintain calibration of inspection equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Report quality trends and assist in developing preventive measures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or related field.
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM.
• Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality management systems (QMS).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Hour are M-F 7 am to 330 pm and pay is between $21-$28 hr.
