- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in line with the KS3 and KS4 Religious Education curriculum
- Encourage respectful dialogue, critical thinking, and spiritual reflection
- Foster a classroom environment where every belief is valued and every student feels heard
- Use a range of formative and summative assessments to track progress and inform planning
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support both academic and personal development
- Contribute to the wider school community through assemblies, interfaith projects, and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
- Be a reflective and adaptable practitioner with strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
- Possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Be enthusiastic about continuous professional development, team collaboration, and curriculum innovation
