Company DescriptionCome join us and make a difference in the world!Discover more atJob DescriptionWe are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Real-World Evidence Specialist, to play a critical role in defining and implementing go-to-market strategies for data-driven RWE products and services in UK & ROW healthcare markets.Main Responsibilities:As RWE Specialist, your primary duties will include:Market InsightsDefine, track and articulate evolving market demands for RWE products and services.Develop and implement strategies that deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet RWE market demand.Research and develop pricing strategies for RWE-based products and services.Drive the long-term RWE data strategy by developing a deep understanding of customer demand, competitor offerings and market trends, and translate that intelligence into requirements for service enhancements and/or new developments.Stay current with the latest advancements in real-world evidence methodologies and regulatory requirements.Stakeholder Engagement and CollaborationEngage with external stakeholders, such as key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, industry and regulatory agencies, to enhance the understanding of real-world evidence and to promote NEC.Develop partnerships with Medical Societies, Academic Institutes, Healthcare Providers, healthcare technology and system suppliers other data owners to build meaningful collaborations.Interact and engage with our customers on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction with NEC products and services.Serve as an expert for RWE across the business, enabling cross-functional teams in developing and supporting products and services in this sector.Collaborate with Product Management and Sales and Marketing teams to support development of USPs and messaging that resonates with customers, new business targets and market influencers.Work with internal stakeholder in the creating business cases for investment in RWE products and services.Support launch activities to ensure that Sales, Pre-Sales, Consultancy and Project Management teams understand our proposition, messaging and go-to-market strategy.Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to support development of external product launch plans to support lead generation.Assist the Sales team with bid responses, sales proposals and quotations.Support analysis of customer and sales activity to support business budget and investment planning.Regulatory & Compliance SupportEnsure our products and services comply with relevant regulatory, scientific and ethical standards in the conduct of RWE studies.Knowledge Sharing & TrainingProvide training and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on RWE concepts and best practices.QualificationsYour background and skills:
This position involves leveraging diverse real-world data (RWD) sources to generate insights that support research, regulatory, and market access strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in, RWE, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related fields along with experience working in biopharmaceutical, MedTech, academia, healthcare provider or relevant consultancy companies. They will demonstrate:A deep understanding and experience of RWD/RWE and/or related disciplines to generate scientifically rigorous evidence in support of regulatory requirements.Strong cross-functional experience working with Clinical, Commercial and Regulatory colleagues.Understanding of and experience with research methodology and statistical methods related to clinical data analysis.EducationDegree-level qualification in a related subject.Desirable: Master’s or PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Outcomes Research or a related field.ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in real-world evidence, epidemiology, health economics, outcomes research, or a related field.Proven track record of designing and executing real-world evidence studies in a pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech or healthcare environment.Experience working with healthcare data sources such as electronic health records or registries.Technical SkillsDeep understanding of the RWE sector, with ability to translate technical jargon into simple, understandable and relatable messagesFamiliarity of statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, STATA) and data management tools.Strong understanding of clinical study design and methods.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to RWE.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent presentation and communication skills, working with minimal directionExcellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, customers and partner organisations – with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholdersPassion for developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with key partners and stakeholders based on in-depth understanding of stakeholder needs and strategic focus.Ability to work independently.Creative and overall strong problem solver who is a go-to subject matter expert.Inspires confidence and establishes processes conducive to teammate and company growth.Continuously seeking to enhancing standards through expansion of knowledge and training.Support teamwork to swiftly and efficiently deliver innovative new products to customers.Able to speak out, challenge conventional thinking, and stand up for ideas.Strong team spirit.Additional InformationWe pride ourselves in offering an excellent benefits package, including an above average pension scheme.
