Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.
- Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
- Records factors causing goods to be returned.
- Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
- Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manejar la recepcion diaria de mercaderia recibida de camiones de vendedores al realizar las siguientes tareas.
- Analizar los envios en busca de defectos y faltas en comparacion con los documentos que detallan lo recibido.
- Registrar los factores por los cuales se devuelven los bienes.
- Descargar y mover los envios entrantes al almacenamiento.
- Reenviar los documentos aprobados de los productos recibidos al departamento correspondiente para su procesamiento. Requisitos: titulo secundario o titulo de educacion general (GED, por sus siglas en ingles) o de uno a tres meses de experiencia o capacitacion relevante, o una combinacion equivalente de educacion y experiencia.
