* Enforces strict safety guidelines and ensures environmental compliance is being adhered to by employees.
* Responsible for ensuring that the department is running efficiently and within standards for productivity, labor, and raw materials.
* Completes department audits and ensures assigned safety and compliance training is being completed and upheld by employees.
* Provides coaching and training to improve employee performance and acknowledges positive results when achieved.
* Recommends staffing adjustments including hours, shifts, and overtime to meet area specific objectives.
* Oversees and maintains a clean work environment.
* Monitors and reports department issues.
* Assists with identifying and implementing process improvements within the department.
* Communicates the needs of the department to the supervisor, to ensure that the proper resources are available to meet production target goals.
* Adheres to and communicates the policies of the company to employees and follows-up that those requirements are met.
* Responsible for tracking and reporting daily production metrics to the supervisor.
* Other assigned duties as needed.

* HS Diploma/GED preferred.
* 1-3 years of transformer and manufacturing experience required.
* Basic skills in MS office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
* WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience preferred.
* OSHA10 certification preferred.
* Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
