Grundfos is seeking a friendly Receptionist on a fixed-term contract until August 2025 to join our vibrant Facilities team in Leighton Buzzard. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service through email and in-person interactions, while also offering vital administrative support to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards. What is the job about?
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Your main goal is to ensure a friendly welcome for everyone and to ensure their time at Grundfos is enjoyable and stress-free. You will also provide administrative support to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards. This is a very different role to a ‘traditional’ reception role, and we are looking for someone who is able to make the environment special for all visitors by maintaining our high standards.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Deliver exceptional service to customers, visitors, and staff.
- Service the reception desk between 10am-3pm and provide holiday/sickness cover from 8.30am-5.00pm when needed.
- Ensure that the café area is fully stocked, coffee machine clean and the environment ready to receive visitors at all times.
- Assist the business in achieving compliance with customer requirements.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Prepare the café area for lunches, ensuring it is clean and tidy.
- Prepare and service meeting rooms
- Take deliveries and sort post
This role is onsite based in our Leighton Buzzard office, with working hours of 5 hours per day- Monday to Friday. Core hours will be 11am-2pm with flexibility on either side.
What do you need to apply?
- Previous experience in a busy reception role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Commitment and enthusiasm.
- A helpful and willing to give things ago attitude to work
- Physically able and willing to take on manual tasks such as preparing and clearing the café area for lunches and taking deliveries, setting up meeting rooms.
