Summary

We are looking to recruit a vigilant lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests at our pool facility. The Lifeguard is a support position to the Recreation Department. This person must be customer service oriented and be able to provide hotel information as well as assist with recreation rental equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of guests.
• Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger and responding to emergencies.
• Warning swimmers regarding unsafe situations or hazards.
• Maintaining order in swimming areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness of all areas including but not limited to pool decks, fitness center, arcade, and outdoor areas.
• Assisting with kid-focused activities or special events at the pool.
• The job duties listed is not all encompassing and additional responsibilities may be required.

Qualifications

• CPR/Lifeguard Certified (preferred)
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions
• Ability to push, pull and lift a moderate amount of weight
• Willing to assist guests in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
