Express Employment is hiring a RECRUITING ASSISTANT to join our in-house Recruiting Team!

Pay: $18–$20/hour

Location: Woodbury, MN

Career Growth: 3-month accelerated program with potential promotion to Employment Specialist (base + commission)

HOW TO SUCCEED HERE AS A RECRUITING ASSISTANT:

• You’re punctual, reliable, and come prepared to contribute each day
• You bring a positive attitude and enjoy working with others toward shared goals
• You’re proactive, creative, curious, and have courage – able to take initiative and work independently when needed
• You value clear communication and are open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
• You’re adaptable and embrace learning opportunities to grow your skills

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Schedule interviews and assist our recruiting team
• Source and screen candidates via job boards, social media, and referrals
• Hit weekly metrics consistently on number of contacts made
• Post and update job descriptions
• Process Background Checks
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews
• Maintain accurate candidate records in our system
• Support HR projects and job fairs
• Meet weekly recruiting goals and deadlines

THE IDEAL RECRUITING CANDIDATE LOOKS LIKE THIS…..

• 6+ months of experience in customer service, sales, or recruiting (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• The ability to adapt and embrace change
• A sense of urgency in completing tasks
• Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, team-based environment
