Job PostingDirector Talent and DevelopmentReady For a Tasty New Challenge?Overview:The Director, Talent & Development, reporting to the VP, Talent & Development, is responsible for strategic and operational functions within Talent & Development as required including recruitment, performance management, team member relations, compensation, training, and development. You are responsible for managing both strategic and operational programs as directed to ensure that the HR needs of the organization are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.We are hiring to build a robust Talent and Development team to support our Team Members at the bakeries/distribution center.What Wonderbrands Offers:

Primary Responsibilites :

  • Responsible for implementation and management of Talent & Development programs such as team member engagement, recruitment, learning and development, compensation, open door across network of regional Bakeries.
  • Act as an advisor to leaders by providing guidance, direction and advice on organizational design, employment related issues, performance management, team member engagement, compensation, learning and development.
  • Ensure compliance regarding regulations and laws by executing necessary policies and procedures.
  • Act as an advisor for change management and communication as a support to the organization.
  • Responsible for internal communications initiatives, overseeing various communications channels and providing support for implementation of new communication channels within the organization.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and engagement of Talent & Development on-site teams.
  • Mentor/coach and lead Talent & Development Business Partners.
  • Support and contribute to the development of leadership through focused development strategies, including talent and performance management.
  • Partner with LR team to manage Labour Relations.
  • Responsible for assessing relevant HR risks and Company exposure in all Team Member matters.
  • Provides guidance to leaders on employment and company policies/practices to ensure fair and consistent implementation/application for legislative compliance, positive team member relations, and to mitigate litigation.
  • Responsible for leading complex investigations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment strategies and hiring needs.
  • Live the continuous improvement mentality, work towards root cause analysis and drive for

improvements. * Support and Execute on any projects and initiatives identified through T&D Horizon Chart.Required Experience:

  • 7 to 10 years prior experience working in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity within a Human Resources function.
  • Completed post-secondary education in HR Management.
  • CHRP designation or working towards is an asset.
  • Proven facilitation, verbal and written communication skills along with superior interpersonal and organizational skills required to deliver training and coaching to teams and individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment within specified timeframes and where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
