Duration: 5 Months
Pay rate: $50.00/hr-$55/hr on w2 Without benefits.
Location: Monte Vista CO 81144
Shift timings: Monday through Friday 8-5, with possibility of call back or weekend shifts to cover for staff.
BG/DT required: Yes
Work location: address or remote – 100% in person and onsite
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversees resident care and the care planning process for nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Assisting the MDS coordinator and DON to implement the multidisciplinary care plan process. In addition oversees the pain management and other key clinical systems of all residents.
• Serves as a clinical resource person for other staff members by participating in problem solving conferences, etc.
• Assists the DON to cover staff nursing shifts as needed/administers meds and treatments as needed.
• Meet psychosocial needs of residents.
• Oversight of Laboratory process for all residents, obtaining and charting weights, Over-the-counter medications.
• Meeting with nursing to formulate ways to achieve efficiency of processes noted above.
• Files reports as needed for CVCLC, Division and per regulations of VA, Federal and State Health Depart. by compiling and composing information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory requirements,

• RN License.
