Pay From: $38Per Hour
MUST:

The Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse should have the following:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina

Ambulatory experience

Pre-Op and or PACU experience

Comfortable working pre-op and PACU

Comfortable starting and administering IV’s

Experience updating patients charts using EMR

Strong attention to detail and proactive

Providing patient education

Monitoring and assessing patients

Discussing pre -op instructions, procedures and medical histories

BLS and ACLS Certified
DUTIES:

The Pre-Op /PACU Registered Nurse’s duties include but are not limited to the following:

Initiate and administer IV’s

Review paperwork with patients

Monitor patients post operatively

Assess patients

Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments

Provide patient education on surgical procedures

Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.

Provide pre- and post-surgery care to patients

Assist providers as needed

Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patients
