Pay From: $55 Per Hour
MUST:

The Registered Nurse Manager should have the following:

8+years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a high volume Surgical Environment or ambulatory setting

2+years of recent management experience

Clinical experience in Pre-Op and PACU with Operating Room experience preferred

Management experience

Overseeing day to day operations

Administering and implementing day to day processes as well as policies and procedures

Managing staff schedules and employee evaluations

Ensure credentialing is up to date

Implement safety measures

Budgeting experience

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland

BLS and ACLS Certified
DUTIES:

The Registered Nurse Manager’s duties include but are not limited to the following:

Oversee staff and manage clinical staff schedules

Implement policies and procedures and oversee budget

Handle employee evaluations

Train staff

Initiate and administer IV’s

Monitor patients Post Op

Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments

Provide patient education on surgical procedures

Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.

Provide pre- and post-surgery care to patients

Assist providers as needed

Prepare equipment

Provide support to physicians during surgical procedures, examinations and treatment of patients
