Summary Responsible and accountable for providing patient as well as nursing staff consultations in the Emergency Department and on all nursing units; assesses psychiatric needs of patients, determines a plan of care and/or assists nursing staff to meet patient needs. # Minimum Qualifications Must possess a current license to practice professional nursing or possess a temporary practice permit in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing; a thorough knowledge of professional nursing standards; developed skill in delivering nursing care and the ability to adapt of individual needs required. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with windows operating systems. The ability to successfully complete a competency based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and/or knowledge that is necessary to provide care to specific patient populations. # Preferred Qualifications One to three years clinical experience in a related field BS Degree in Nursing
