This is for a full-time Nurse Manager role in our Critical Care/Telemetry.
About the job:
- Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit
- Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff
- Ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training
- May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of tasks
- Leads and directs the work of others
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management
Requirements:
- FL RN License, Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Must be a registered nurse with at least 5-7 years of clinical experience in a related field
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
