<div class="isg-job-description“>Responsible for preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with exercises, and providing clerical support to the physical therapy staff.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
-Assist physical therapists with patient treatment plans, including preparing treatment areas and equipment.
-Provide hands-on assistance to patients during exercises and other therapeutic activities.
-Monitor patients’ progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
-Maintain patient records and treatment notes in an accurate and timely manner.
-Perform clerical duties, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
-Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
-Participate in continuing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Experience
Experience in a healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
– Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
– Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Basic computer skills.
