Robert Half is partnering with a leading financial services firm is seeking a talented and motivated Relationship Manager (Associate Director) to join our Portfolio team. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring sound credit structures, and mitigating credit risk through proactive portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive-level conversations with clients, demonstrating a strong understanding of their business objectives, challenges, and financial health.

• Oversee and manage day-to-day funding requests to ensure smooth operations.

• Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends, and recommend strategic actions to maintain credit quality.

• Manage renewals, annual reviews, and interim credit analyses to support a well-structured portfolio.

• Review and execute amendment requests to accommodate evolving client needs.

• Support a seamless transition for clients from Underwriting to Portfolio Management.

• Develop and refine operational processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and scalability as the portfolio grows.

  Requirements

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in commercial banking or financial services.

• Strong expertise in credit analysis, asset-based lending (ABL) structuring, and portfolio management.

• Experience reviewing collateral reporting, borrowing bases, and other ABL-related financial materials.

• High proficiency in financial statement analysis and Excel-based modeling.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with a client-centric approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commercial Banking, or a related field.
