Religious Education Teacher – WarringtonLocation: Warrington
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Pay: £150 to £220 (based on experience)We are proudly supporting a number of fantastic secondary schools across Warrington that are seeking inspiring RE Teachers to join their departments from September 2025. Whether you’re an experienced educator or an ECT, this could be the perfect opportunity to step into a rewarding and well-supported environment.About the Role:You’ll be delivering thoughtful and engaging RE lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, helping students explore religion, ethics, philosophy, and the impact of belief systems on society. Your teaching will foster inclusive discussion, cultural understanding, and respect in diverse classrooms.Why should you work with us?

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons that are accessible and inclusive.
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Encourage open dialogue and critical thinking on a range of faith-based and ethical issues.
• Prepare students GCSE Religious Studies exams.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress regularly.
• Create a supportive and respectful classroom culture.
• Work collaboratively with the humanities department and wider school staff.
• Follow safeguarding and school behaviour policies consistently.

What You’ll Need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialism in Religious Education or related subjects (Theology, Philosophy, etc.).
• Experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 and/or KS4).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for the subject and ability to make lessons meaningful and relevant.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
