Religious Studies Teacher – Part Time/Full Time
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £31,350 – £47,839 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Contract: Part Time/Full TimeAbout the Opportunity:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Religious Studies Teacher to join a supportive and effective team at a secondary school in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. The school is dedicated to ensuring that students thrive academically and personally, and you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to explore and develop their understanding of Religious Studies.If you have a passion for Religious Studies and enjoy delivering innovative, thought-provoking lessons, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver interactive and engaging lessons to small groups and whole classes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure lessons meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Develop and nurture positive relationships with both staff and parents.
  • Effectively manage the classroom to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Religious Studies, Religious Education, Humanities, or a related subject.
  • A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
  • A genuine passion for Religious Studies, Religious Education, or Humanities, and the ability to inspire students in the subject.
  • At least 2-3 years of teaching experience at Key Stage 3, GCSE, or A Level in a maintained school or academy setting.
  • Ability to develop and create comprehensive Schemes of Work.
