Here at the Defence Medical Academy (DMA), we are inclusive and dedicated, working to provide excellent military training and education to our military personnel.
Each year, we deliver and support the learning and development of around 8,000 students and trainees from across Defence, some of whom are at the start of their careers, others returning to the DMA to undertake further career or trade training, or to attend pre-deployment courses for serving in support of operations.
Join Our Dynamic Team as an Administrative Officer (AO) – Reprographic and Administrative Support!
Are you a hardworking, organised, and adaptable individual looking for an exciting new opportunity? The Training Delivery Specialist Support (TDSS) team, part of the DMA, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to provide essential support in the production of training resources. You will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production of training materials. You will work in a supportive environment with a team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time role consisting of 37 hours per week. The Role requires the person to be on site Mon-Fri to provide effective deliver.

Strategic Command is going through a significant transformation programme which aims to improve the way the Command conducts its business and delivers for Defence and the nation. As a consequence of this, all posts within Strategic Command Headquarters and in time the wider organisation, are/will be subject to review and potential changes as we continuously improve across the period of the transformation programme. These changes may be minor or could be more substantive and will generate new opportunities. Throughout, the Command’s transformation programme is committed to following the MOD’s framework on managing and supporting people through the change process and places an emphasis on early and open consultation and engagement with the Command’s personnel and Trade Unions.
Job description
The Reprographic and Administrative Support role is an integral part of the TDSS team within the
DMA. This position focuses on the following key areas:
- Reprographics Digital Print/Media
- Photography print finishing and media storage
The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the main point of contact for reprographic queries, providing advice and solutions to internal customers.
- Produce and manage both digital and physical media for DMA customers.
- Ensure secure storage and version control of documents in compliance with GDPR.
- Record and monitor job requests, prioritising to meet deadlines.
- Provide cover in the absence of the Reprographics Manager,
- Assist with photographic print finishing and digital media storage.
- Upload digital materials to the DMA Imagery SharePoint site.
