We are currently seeking a Required. I Series Technical Consultant I Series Technical Consultant to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Key Responsibilities

• Applies foundational technical knowledge of an architecture solution to meet business requirements and resolve identified technical constraints
• Focus on independent execution, problem solving and demonstration of passion towards engineering excellence
• Work on global & regional Sustainable Service Program (SSP) and IBMi Separability projects
• Work on various complex projects, as a Technical Expert. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are met

Key Skills Requirements

• Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Vast experience as an IBMi specialist in a large environment
• Technical knowledge in IBMi Operating system including OS/400 components; for example, creation of subsystems, workstation entries, pools, printers, BRMS objects, troubleshooting job failures (to name a few)
• Technical knowledge in IBMi third party projects including Connect:Direct, IWS, CDC, Robot, Powerlock, OnDemand
• Proficient in scripting and or coding skills in multiple common languages (e.g. IBMi Control Language, ansible etc.)
• Sound knowledge data centre operations, systems infrastructure and architecture design
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies
• Requires a collaborative teammate who enjoys working in multi-functional groups and has the ability and willingness to work with others around the world
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and business users
• Sound analytical, problem solving skills and strong work ethics
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills
