Grade 7, £44,746 – £56,535 per annum pro rata21 (0.6 FTE) / 14 (0.4 FTE) hours per week
PermanentThe Glasgow School of Art has established Rural Lab at our Highlands & Islands Campus as a dynamic space where creative practice and academic research converge, shaping innovative and sustainable solutions within rural contexts, communities, ecologies and economies.Through cross-disciplinary collaboration and partnership Rural Lab encourages new ways of thinking about sustainable growth, embracing and emphasising the importance of rural traditions, craft and making in future focussed sectors such as space, bio and AI.This new portfolio of research will be distributed across Scotland in the Highlands and Islands, South of Scotland and Glasgow and will include the establishment of a pioneering doctoral community connecting across these regions.We are looking for 2x Research Fellows who have a track record of creative practice research, material innovation and regenerative design to contribute to this exciting new development at The Glasgow School of Art.These roles can be based at our Highlands & Islands Campus or in Glasgow.Download:Closing date for submission of completed applications: 23:59 (BST) Thursday 4th September 2025Interviews for this post will take place week commencing 15th September 2025For full details and to apply online, please visit:If you don’t currently have the right to work and live in the UK, we are unable to offer sponsorship for skilled worker visa for this role as it does not meet the Home Office eligibility requirements.
