Position Summary
This position contributes to designing, developing, executing, and interpreting research projects, in collaboration with researchers at AI.Health4All Center, which address pressing societal problems in healthcare with data-driven approaches such as AI, simulation, process mining, and social network analysis. The candidate is expected to perform complex data collection, preprocessing, analysis, modeling, and result interpretation using state-of-the-art methods that are outlined by the Principal Investigator and other team members.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research. Industrial Engineering or related field required. Master’s is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
Proficient in specific lab research techniques. - Sound experience and knowledge of data-driven research.
- Excellent experience with Python, R, Java, and SQL.
- Excellent experience with version control methods for software/model and data (Git and GitHub)
- Concrete experience with developing and deploying machine learning algorithms, simulation models, and social network analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in medical or health service research is preferred.
- Knowledge of fundamental human subjects’ research concepts, practices, and procedures.
