Project Brief / Scope of Work:
Numerous studies have been conducted in Philippine entrepreneurship exploring areas of the ecosystem, challenges, barriers, and potential solutions moving forward. However, none have specifically focused on the youth entrepreneurship ecosystem.
This project aims to address this gap by conducting an assessment of the youth enterprise ecosystem. Key activities involved are as follows:
- Preparation of an inception report;
- Conducting the study in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Facilitating focus group discussions (FGDs), in-depth interviews, and expert consultations;
- Mapping, consultation, and validation of data; and
- Dissemination of study findings.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Education/Training: At least a degree holder of development studies, entrepreneurship/business, public policy/administration, development communications, economics, or other related courses
Language: English
Professional experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years professional experience leading and managing research projects preferably revolving around entrepreneurship and youth economic development
- At least one project/research leadership experience involving the coordination of diverse teams, engagement with multiple stakeholders, and collaboration with MSMEs, startups, young entrepreneurs, youth organizations, government agencies, and the private sector.
- With a technical understanding of Philippine policy, regulatory framework, entrepreneurship culture, and enterprise market.
Preferred Criteria:
- At least 3 years experience working in the development sector.
