The Resident Assistant (Caregiver or Nursing Assistant) is responsible for providing personal care and delegated health-related services designed to maintain the resident’s physical and emotional well-being. This position is responsible for following the service schedule for each resident and correctly documents services provided.
About Us: Ecumen of Litchfield is hiring a Resident Assistant. Ecumen of Litchfield consists of 56 assisted living apartments and 14 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care. Ecumen also offers independent living, adult day services, hospice, and homecare all within the Litchfield, MN area. Schedule: Part-Time Overnight. 10:30p-6:45a. Schedule include various weekdays, every other weekend, and every other holiday.
Pay: The targeted pay range for this job is $18.00 – $22.00 per hour. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, mobility, and transfers
Provide morning and evening care, including oral hygiene and incontinence care
Support use of assistive devices (e.g., glasses, hearing aids)
Administer medications as delegated by the RN
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition
Encourage resident independence and support self-care
Collaborate with team members in a dynamic care environment
Help with light cleaning tasks and lead or assist with resident activities
Respond to safety concerns, call lights, and changes in duties as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
