Respiratory Therapist

Come join our Respiratory Therapists at the Monticello Hospital in providing quality care from first breath to last breath and for every breath in between. As part of a diverse and dynamic team, you will deliver personalized and compassionate care in Central Minnesota. This position offers you the opportunity to treat a wide range of patients, from premature infants to centenarians.

Schedule:

• 48 hours every two weeks
• Various 12-hour shifts from 6:45am-7:15pm and 6:45pm -7:15am during the week
• Every 4th weekend 6:45pm-7:15am
• Rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $35.13 per hour and increases with experience.
  • Pay Range: $35.13 – $50.88 per hour

• This position qualifies for student loan repayment of up to $7,500 or a hiring bonus of up to $6,000, plus $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Here are some of the responsibilities of this role:

• Complete vent management, transport, conscious sedations, and blood gas analysis.
• Ability to share input and discuss orders with providers to meet patient needs.
• Support Inpatient, Emergency, Obstetrics, and ICU with respiratory needs.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of MN Board of Medical Practice Respiratory Therapist Registry.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy, can be obtained upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ACLS Certification prior to practicing independently post orientation.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRT) Current NRP certification obtained prior to working independently with newborns or before completion of orientation; within 6 months.

CentraCare – Monticello:

• 25-bed critical access hospital including Birthing Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU
• 10-bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit.
• Extensive Outpatient Services: Level IV Emergency Department with ambulance service, Heart Care, Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Diabetes & Nutrition education, Integrated Behavioral Health, Vascular Care, and Wound Care.
• Full Imaging, Laboratory Services, and Respiratory Therapy.
