Retail Store Assistant Manager

RelaDyne is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Store Assistant Manager to help oversee daily store operations. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in maintaining smooth operations, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the store remains well-stocked, clean, and profitable.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment and wants to grow with a strong team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and support daily sales
• Assist the Store Manager with overall store operations
• Operate cash registers and handle cash accurately
• Check in vendors and fuel deliveries
• Keep shelves, coolers, and displays stocked and organized
• Assist with inventory counts and stock management
• Help maintain store cleanliness including floors, counters, pumps, and surrounding property
• Support employee scheduling when the Store Manager is unavailable
• Ensure company policies for cash handling, safety, and security are followed
• Report maintenance or operational issues to management

Note: The Assistant Manager must be reliable and punctual, as there may be times when no other cashier or staff member is available.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions
• Ability to operate cash registers and basic store equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid State Food Handler’s Permit
