Essential Functions
- Able to stock 1 hardlines cart per 15 minutes and/or stock 1 z-rack per 15 minutes o Associates are expected to reach position metric four weeks after training ends
- Maintaining appropriate security of cash and donated goods
- Operate register, as directed
- Complying to Agency policies and procedures
- Ensuring a high level of customer service both front and back
- Performing duties according to safety expectations and procedures
- Ensuring the physical safety of the back room and sales floor
- Communicating safety issues and concerns to ensure quick resolution
- Ability to operate a cash register and POS system
- Ability to count change, count down cash drawers and complete accompanying paperwork
- Greeting customers and accepting donation and issuing receipts
- Operating a hand stacker and pallet jack
- General store upkeep including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, glass cleaning, and bathroom maintenance.
- Ensuring quick placement of high-quality, processed goods to the sales floor
- Assisting to meet production numbers as set by divisional management
- Ensuring loss prevention and process flow guidelines are followed
- All other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Comfort with handling cash and operation of a cash register
- Understanding of the importance of the donor process and how it supports the mission
- Ability to perform job duties safely
- The incumbent should have at least 6 months of work history, unless this is their first job
- High school diploma or equivalent is not required.
- Operation of the hand stacker will require the ability to become certified in its operation
