We are seeking a full-time (40 hour) Retail Support Specialist to join our team in Port Washington. The Retail Support Specialist will support Mortgage Lenders in the flow and organization of their files, prepare consumer and 1st mortgage files, and gather required documents to forward to underwriter for approval. The Retail Support Specialist position is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to enter into and learn the innerworkings of the Mortgage and Consumer Lending world. 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Support mortgage lenders by gathering documents and preparing loan files
• Process 1st and 2nd mortgage, HELOC, auto, and unsecured loans and online applications
• Organize information from customers to process mortgage loans
• Enter mortgage loan rates
• Follow compliance procedures and internal security protocols
• Maintain recordkeeping and assist with reporting
• Loan estimates for construction and bridge loans

What You Bring: 

• At least 1-2 years of banking experience, at least 2 years of mortgage processing experience preferred
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to identify problems and review information to implement solutions
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to accuracy
