Retailer – InfoLink Sales Advisor

Job Duties

• Sales/Presentations/Closing – Participate in the sales process by effectively demonstrating the features and functionality of Crown’s Insite products and its services. Work with retail operations and the District Service and Part Managers, General Sales Managers, National Account General Managers and National Account Managers to ensure market position of Crown accounts are maintained and enhanced. Maintain direct contact with current or prospective customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare proposals and sales presentations to ensure Company value is recognized by assigned accounts and adequate sales, service and support is accomplished.
• Marketing Dealer/Customer Presentations – Develop and execute strategic sales plans to gain and maintain the position of Crown’s InfoLink products throughout the retail network. Present and train the dealer and branch sales staff to be competent in the Insite line of products. Develop and perform presentations, lead sales discussions and help with all aspects of the sale process in order to gain the sale. Responsible for developing and maintaining a geographical region for the sale and sales support efforts of Crown’s InfoLink suite of products.
• Legal – Negotiate legal documents and collaborate with the Company’s Legal Department when necessary.
• Assist Marketing – Assist Marketing in analyzing market position, pricing and promotion. Participate in development and other promotional activities.
• Reporting / Communication – Provide reporting on prospecting, sales activities and known market conditions. Prepare written communication necessary for follow-up with end users and retailers. Provide effective feedback to management regarding improvements to processes and programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ related experience
• Associate degree (Business)
• Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
• Must have valid driving privileges
• Extensive Travel (over 20%)
• Extensive overnight stays (over 20%)
• Per 8-hour shift. Sit 8 hours and stand 0 hours. Typical office environment (low noise level, limited exposure hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, and vibrations). Regular interaction with others and performs a degree of independent work. Physical and mental demands are akin to the majority of office positions with prolonged periods of sitting and prolonged use of a computer/keyboard. Infrequent lifting, walking and climbing stairs. Occasional use of office equipment (copiers, printers, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• A two- or four-year business degree or equivalent experience along with three to five years of comparable field experience.
• Capable of leading and effectively garnering retail management support to achieve company and customer objectives within a teamed environment.
• Good communication both verbal and non-verbal, computer, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Basic IT wireless knowledge preferred.
