The roleWe are looking to recruit 3 enthusiastic Business Administrator apprentices into the Revenues and Benefits service. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be working supporting the team in tasks related to the Council’s Revenues, Benefits or Service Change Service.Key ResponsibilitiesExamples of duties may include

• Process applications for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support accurately and timely.
• To ensure that liabilities for Council Tax and Business Rates accounts are processed accurately and timely
• Respond to customer enquiries by telephone, email and correspondence
• Contribute to business process improvement
• Provide administrative support and gather work-based evidence towards completion of the NVQ portfolio

About YouThe successful candidate will:

• Have level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
• Experience of using Microsoft Office applications (such as Word and Excel)
• Ability to follow set procedures and routines
• Ability to carry out basic office skills
• An awareness of good customer service
