Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Melbourne, FL. Interested?

Here’s what you’d do:

  • The Rework Operator II is responsible for performing a complex range of assembly, rework and inspection of printed circuit assemblies encompassing Pin Thru-hole.
  • Reports to the Production Supervisor.
  • Follow assembly procedures and visual aide instructions.
  • Verify integrity of material to be assembled to the assembly procedure, and or visual aide instruction.
  • Assemble electronic components (resistors, capacitors, connectors, sockets) in specific printed circuit board locations, following assembly procedure, wiring diagram, electrical schematic and visual aide instruction.
  • Solder electronic components in specific printed circuit board locations, following assembly procedure and visual aide instruction.
  • Perform ECO (engineering change order) rework on SMT and Pin Thru-hole components.
  • Add wires to specific printed circuit board locations following assembly procedure, ECO, wiring diagram, electrical schematic and visual aide instruction.
  • Add/remove components utilizing de-soldering tools, soldering irons and rework stations.
  • Repair printed circuit board etches, pads and vias utilizing advanced soldering techniques, epoxy applications.
  • Tracking of RMA’s and NPI’s through processes.
  • Inspect completed print circuit assemblies for quality and completeness following assembly procedures and IPC-A-610 Acceptability Guideline.
  • Pre-form component leads per IPC standard, assembly procedure and visual aide instruction.
  • Control, document and process to MRB non-conforming material.
  • Removal and replacement of BGAs.
  • Repair of BGA sites using solder wick and epoxy.
  • Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of work-in process associated with work cell.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding workspace.
  • Participate in Quality team meetings, as needed.
  • Maintain ESD integrity within production environment.
  • May train other employees.
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Here’s what you’ll get:

Pay: $ 20.00 / hr (dependent upon experience)

Hours: 40 hrs / Week (1<sup>st</sup> shift) 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Length: Temp to Direct

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics in assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards experience in rework and inspection.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in advanced de-soldering, soldering techniques and advanced repair techniques.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with soldier under microscope.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with operations rework tools and repair that is de-soldering, soldering techniques and repair techniques.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical certificate.
  • IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721 and J-STD-001 Certifications.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO 13485.
  • ESD Training.
  • Knowledge of printed circuit board assembly and product assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of component value identification and other component nomenclature.
  • Ability to read test procedures and follow verbal instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other groups.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Excellent computer skills, problem solving and workstation skills.
  • Ability to lead in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with fine pitch work.
  • Know component indicators.
  • Able to reach Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
  • Able to read and find AMS.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

  • Able to sit and look through microscope for extend period of time.
